Welcome to our first CCCT newsletter and social outings program. We don’t know who is happier: you, our valued clients, or our fabulous team who are all very keen to get you out and about, engaging and enjoying life. Your patience while we built our new community transport service has been truly appreciated—as has your support and best wishes.
To help develop services that deliver fairly for all (a particular focus of our Client Services team) we ask for your patience while we trial these protocols:
Our program will be published bi-monthly to help your planning and budgeting.
Each CCCT ‘region’ will be offered every outing but on differing days, keeping pick-ups/drop-offs within regions so you’re not aboard for hours. And by varying the days every week, those with other regular commitments should still find outings to suit.
Most outings will not include pre-arranged meals, letting you choose per your tastes, dietary needs and budget.
If an entry ticket or meal is included in the price your booking request will need to be prepaid in full. If you don’t get a seat we can refund you or apply a credit for your next outing / transport service.
Bookings will be taken by phone, email or website message and open to all clients upon publication of the newsletter
Bookings received will put you on a ‘waitlist’ only.
We will then confirm your booking 7 days before the outing. If demand exceeds capacity our lucky draw will see everyone enjoy at least one of their requests.
If a cancellation is advised up to 3 days before an outing you may still be notified there’s a seat for you. We hope this will stop what was described as an ‘unfair mess’.
Cancellations within 7 working days of an outing will incur a 50% fee. This is to ensure people don’t book everything and then cancel when given the opportunity to participate.

Excitingly, our vehicles are being rebranded so it will be easier to see us. And after May’s successful ‘Drive for Drivers’ our service capacity grows.
Our gracious, capable Jamie F (Ops Manager) retires to spend time with family. And after propelling CCCT’s emergence in the last 8 months, Helen Crouch is also retiring and proudly hands the GM’s baton to Tara Russell come July.
We are grateful that you and our team (both recent and experienced) see Central Coast Community Transport as a new entity (with no links or left-over habits) and join us in being excited for expansion and improvements. You are our focus and we delight in Taking you to the world!

Thank you for understanding that prepayment of outings is preferred and appreciated by your HKCT team. It greatly assists our drivers and office team.
Charges apply to outings with luncheons or entries pre-arranged and included in your price. Reservation deadlines dictate our prepayments so, should you cancel within 3 working days of an outing (or contrary to a venue’s rules), please understand when we advise you of the non-refundable portion of your prepayment.
Our intended outings, destinations and venues are subject to NSW Health’s restrictions.
